Featured Activities

Since our launch in Fall 2015, the West Hub has hosted and participated in a diverse set of community events, activities, and initiatives. From our work leading the National Transportation Data Challenge or statewide (open-to-all collaborators outside the state) Water Data Challenges in California, to our convening of Translational Data Science discussions (Workshops 2 & Workshop 3 in collaboration with the Northeast Hub),  we’re excited to continue sparking meaningful connections and supporting projects across academia, industry, nonprofits, and government partners.

We’re currently working to refresh our website to capture the extent of our projects, so please connect with us on social media with #BDHubs in the meantime, to get a sense of the efforts beyond our first major events.

We’ll be adding ways for community members to share upcoming opportunities in our shared calendar of activities (currently a prototype / work-in-progress)!
